In 1994, Dr. Koveos received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. In his senior year, Dr. Koveos finished number one in his class and was presented with many awards for high academic and clinical achievements. Prior to graduation Dr. Koveos completed two externships, one at the US Coast Guard Base in Miami Beach, Florida and the other in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston City Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Prior to that he received his Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. His major was Natural Sciences and minor was Business.

In 1995, Dr. Koveos spent some time gaining valuable experience at Valley Medical Center in Fresno, CA. Dr. Koveos also spent a considerable amount of time working and training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology in the division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Hospitals at the school of medicine under the direction of his lifelong mentor Dr. George C. Sotereanos. This provided much experience in Cosmetics and Implant surgery along with implant prosthetics.

In 2003, Dr. Koveos was selected amongst many applicants to complete a Surgical Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Center Hospitals. This one year intensive surgical training experience was very demanding and its completion very rewarding in July 1, 2004 when he received his fellowship certificate. Dr. Koveos’s personality is of genuine concern to each patient individually and he tries to adjust every treatment plan to the actual needs of the patient at issue. He believes in providing seven-star quality dental care in a comfortable and pleasant environment through seven-star professional service. Dr. Koveos is an active member in good standing in many local, state, national and international organizations, including the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association.

The use of a high-tech intra-oral Camera allows Dr. Koveos to take color digital photographs of existing dental conditions. They provide the best sterilization system that far exceeds the American Dental Associations’ guidelines. High-tech digital x-rays provide exceptional quality and provide extremely little amounts of radiation to the patient as opposed to conventional x-rays.
